You can:

• Spring clean up your home or business green and external space
• Paint, repair, improve
• Pick Weeds
• Cut your lawn
• Use fertilizer and responsible watering programs to maintain healthy lawns, gardens and planters
• Repair, restore and preserve heritage sites
• Get involved
• Preserve trees
• Plant a tree
• Plant a garden: theme garden, different colours and plant meterials. Try incorporating natural structures or add a small fountain or pond
• Add a planter or hanging basket
• Recycle
• Spread the word: involve citizens, local groups and businesses
• Children can get involved through school or youth organizations with environmental programs, tree and garden planting, cleaning up their school years and playgrounds
• Businesses can get involved too
